Q) Where will the Poppy Half Marathon be held?

The Poppy Half Marathon is run over four laps along the sea front in Bexhill-on-Sea. The start and finish are in Polegrove on the sea front, just 10 minutes walk from Bexhill Station.

Q) What is the route?

The start and finish are in Polegrove on the sea front and the route follows a four lap traffic free course, with a climb of just 10 metres on each lap.

Q) What is the cost of entry?

The cost of entry is £17 in advance for affiliated runners. Unaffiliated runners can enter for £15 in advance. Any entries available on the day will be subject to an on the day fee.

Q) Are there other distances that can be run?

No. The event only covers the half marathon distance of 13.1 miles. However there will be a children’s race for younger runners.

Q) Where do I collect my Race Number and Timing Chip?

Collect your race number and Timing chip on race day at the registration marquee, it will NOT be posted out. Arrive in good time to collect your number + chip and get ready for the race start.

Subject to the race limit not being reached a number of race entries may be available on the day but these are not guaranteed at this moment in time.

Please note that any on the day entries will subject to availability and an additional entry fee.

Q) Can I take part in the Poppy Half Marathon and raise money for a Charity?

 Yes, you are more than welcome to enter the Poppy Half Marathon and raise money for your chosen charity.

Q) Is there an age limit for the event?

 Yes, the minimum age for the event, in line with UK Athletics rules, is 17.
