2011 sees the fourth running of the popular Poppy Half Marathon in Bexhill-on-Sea

organised by Bexhill Runners and powered by TL Sports Events.

The race takes place on Remembrance Sunday – hence the name of the race – and in

order to allow those who wish to attend commemoration events, the race start is at 12.30 pm.

The race is over four laps. Starting by Polegrove Park heading out along the seafront, before looping back through the Polegrove Park. A spectator friendly event allows your loved ones to cheer you throughout the race and give you that extra motivation each lap.

Road closures and a flat course give you a great chance at potential personal best time.

Chip timing and commentary will provide you live splits for each lap, when you return through the Polegrove park. 

Finishers will receive a special commemorative medal which you can view opposite. Race T-shirts are available to buy for £6 on pre-entry and we will have limited stock on the day for £10. Any extra donations for the official race t-shirt are added to the overall proceeds donated to our charity partner The Royal British Legion. There will also be prizes for the leading runners.
